Bristol`s Ranch House Cafe in Arnold

This place is the only place that serves a regular breakfast in Arnold. The food and service is great.

This restaurant was one the the few businesses open during the Arnold, CA power outage which lasted 3 days. The outage was due to high fire danger in the area due to high winds. The Ortega burger was delicious. But the fresh (still warm) potatoes chips and potato salad were even better. I'd go back just to lunch on chips and salad!

Love their food. Home town atmosphere so expect slow hometown service.

Great prices and portions, staff is minimal and sometimes misses out on silent service and attentiveness. Can amp that up and it would be amazing. Also, just to add they're strawberry French toast was off the charts good!!

My wife and I stopped in for a couple burgers and we're pleasantly surprised. We sat outside and were allowed to have our 4 legged friend join us which was awesome. Our server was attentive to us and our dog. Our food was brought to us quickly and as ordered. The burgers were pretty good. Not the best ever, but pretty good. The check was brought out and the bill was paid with no issues.The deck dinning area was a bit messy, but we were outside in what is essentially a forest, so pine needles are not unreasonable. I really don't have any complaints worth noting.

This place is awful. Both times I visited the place, I waited 30 minutes each just to have someone take my order. By the time the food came, it was dry and gross. The place was filthy as well. I wouldn’t recommend the place.

Im sure we just had a bad experience, but we had a very bad experience. The roof leaked all over our table, the carpets were filthy, and the creamers they gave us for our coffee were all cracked so the liquid was leaking into the bucket they served them in. We did not even wait to get our food, too disgusted, we paid for our drinks and left.

The place serves big dishes and for fair prices. super nice owner. 5 stars from me.

Food , service was great. First time we went there, & we cant wait to return to try something else on the menu. Breakfast was awesome, & the burgers looked so good. Yummmmm

Great place for a good breakfast

I have been here before and it was so packed we never got a seat and had to leave. We finally got to come here on a non busy week day. Locals seemed familiar and everyone knew everybody. We did have a bit of wait for food but it was worth it. The food was Very well priced and tasted amazing. I noticed it looked like only a couple people work there so I would never come here during busy seasons. If you have all day to wait it is worth it.

Food was great you don't go away hungry but they are very very very slow so if you have a couple hours I would suggest it's a great place but if you're in a hurry forget it

Almost the only place in town for a full breakfast. Hardy food served in large portions. I like the corned beef hash and the chicken fried steak.

We loved breakfast here. Had to wait for a table but it was worth it.

Food is excellent, your in the mountains, service will be a little longer however well worth the wait enjoy the decorative entertainment. Follow the locals they know.Best breakfast in the Arnold area.

Food was amazing! Service not so much, waiter was so slow wouldn’t refill our water. Just a lot of waiting when there isn’t many people in there anyways. Waited 20 minutes for our bill alone.

Sure beats the chain restaurants. Sit back and relax enjoy your breakfast.

Even though they were about to close (we did not realize they were a breakfast place and arrived at 2 just before closing) the server was amazing the food was delicious and the price was unbeatable 3 meals and beer and the bill was under 30 dollars... hands down the best French dip I have ever eaten thank you

Great place! Cozy, homey, love the memorabilia . Friendly guy and our breakfast was very good and you get a good amount at a reasonable price. Very good coffee and the French toast was delicious! Will be back when in the area again and will tell others about this gem in Arnold:)

Authentic, old fashioned breakfast place on the way into the mountains. Service might be a bit slow - but the ambiance, the portion size and the food quality are great. Obviously, this is where the locals go.

I wasn't impressed by this place. The selection of food is very limited, especially lacking vegetarian options. Even the soup had meat in it! The place looks cozy and the waiter was very friendly. They had gun and ammunition posters everywhere and an old tv showing fox news
